Climate Intelligence Group

Welcome to the home of the Climate Intelligence Group.

The Climate Intelligence Group (also referred to as the Global Climate Intelligence Group) is an international network of climate realist organizations from around the world. These groups share a commitment to promoting rational, evidence-based, and affordable approaches to climate policy, while actively challenging exaggerations, alarmism, and unsubstantiated claims in the mainstream climate narrative.

United by a dedication to scientific integrity, economic realism, and individual freedoms, member organizations advocate for policies that avoid unnecessary burdens on societies and economies—policies grounded in balanced risk assessment rather than fear-driven urgency. The group emphasizes that climate change should be addressed through adaptation, innovation, and pragmatic solutions, not through ideologically motivated restrictions that undermine prosperity and energy security.

The Climate Intelligence Foundation (Clintel), based in the Netherlands and founded in 2019, serves as the coordinator of this global network. Clintel facilitates collaboration among national branches and allied organizations, supports the dissemination of critical perspectives on climate science and policy, and works to amplify voices that prioritize facts over sensationalism.

Currently led by Professor Václav Klaus—former President of the Czech Republic (2003–2013), renowned economist, and longtime critic of climate alarmism—the foundation provides strong international leadership. Appointed in December 2025, President Klaus brings his extensive experience in promoting freedom, rationality, and skepticism toward politicized environmental agendas to guide the group’s efforts.

Through initiatives like the World Climate Declaration and ongoing international outreach, the Climate Intelligence Group strives to foster open debate, counter one-sided narratives, and contribute to more sensible, cost-effective responses to environmental challenges worldwide.

If your organisation would like to join the Climate Intelligence Group, please contact Clintel director Marcel Crok at marcel.crok@clintel.org.
