The Climate Intelligence Foundation (CLINTEL) was founded in 2019 by emeritus professor Guus Berkhout (TU Delft) and the Amsterdam based science writer Marcel Crok. CLINTEL operates as a watchdog of climate science and climate policy and intends to be a reasonable voice in the polarized climate debate.
Guus Berkhout also initiated the World Climate Declaration which operates under the Global Climate Intelligence Group, an international network of over 1800 scientists and professionals.
