Benny Peiser: The tide has turned, but watch out for lawfare!

Photo: Benny Peiser
In his last talk as director of the Global Warming Policy Foundation, Benny Peiser concluded that climate alarmists are now basically on their own. But “the main problem is that governments are being shackled, not just by the bureaucracy and the civil service, but also by the courts and the lawfare that is being adopted by campaigners.”
“So after 15 years of telling people that this is not going to work, that it will end in tears and that energy reality and Net Zero don’t go together, I think we are now at a situation for the first time when politicians and policy makers are knocking on our door and saying: please help us to get off the hook. We need ideas and policy alternatives to get off the hook.”
“I am pretty sure that my successor will have a much easier time in his role at the GWPF. And the Irish Climate Science Foundation and Clintel will have an easier time than in the last 15 years, because we are now essentially saying what the vast majority of people think.”
Peiser held his online speech, organised by ICSF and Clintel, on January 29th. Read the full article: here.
Willie Soon goes back to the age of the dinosaurs

Dr. Willie Soon is firing up his coal fired time machine and travelling back to the age of the dinosaurs. It’s a brilliant and very entertaining 5 minute video by Soon and the team of Gorilla Science (Martin Durkin and Tom Nelson, who also produced Climate: The Movie last year). Just watch it and send it to your kids and grand kids!
Strong support around the world for Trump’s drill, baby, drill!

“It would be a mistake to look at the Trump administration’s energy policy promises as the only hope in turning around what has been a decades-long onslaught against fossil fuels in the U.S. and Western Europe. Key developments in world energy affairs in 2024 suggest that a Trump administration will have important allies in Europe and around the world in its fight against the globalist climate agenda”, says economist dr. Tilak K. Doshi, a former contributor to Forbes, and a member of the CO2 Coalition. “For instance, Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, host of COP29, came out as among Mr. Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters, describing his country’s oil and gas resources as ‘a gift from God’ and that oil and gas would be needed for many more years.”
“Mr. Trump couches his promised energy policies in the mantle of ‘America First’. Yet in his ambitions to bring about a renaissance in energy production in the U.S., he enjoys the prospects of strong support from all corners of the world not beholden to the powerful lobbies of the globalist climate agenda.”

The health dangers of infrasound produced by wind turbines

In our recent report The Wind Turbine Tragedy, Clintel pointed out the health dangers of infrasound (vibrations we cannot hear) produced by wind turbines. Biophysicist dr. Dietmar Hildebrand has written two articles about the same subject, one focussing on the health issues for humans and one focussing on whales, who communicate by infrasound.
Hildebrand refers to a 2021 publication by Lee Bartel and Abdulla Mosabbir in the Journal of Healthcare. “The authors focus on vibrations from shock waves (less than 1 Hz) up to the audible range. VAT (vibroacoustic therapy) has been around in medicine for a long time and therefore a lot of research has been done to understand not only the effects of VAT but also the mechanisms by which our body can perceive vibroacoustic signals. Even the purely mechanical vibration of bio-molecules, cells, bones has effects on our health. For example, blood clots can be dissolved by VAT.”
“The endothelial cells on the walls of veins and lymph vessels can perceive vibrations. All nerve cells react to vibrations, but we also have special sensors, so-called proprioceptors, which are not only part of our sense of touch in the skin but can also be found in other parts of our body. In four long chapters, the authors explain the variety of sensory perceptions and how these can be used for VAT. The publication is solidly supported by 247 references. Anyone who still says that we cannot perceive infrasound must be illiterate. It is important to understand that the influence of wind turbines must not be measured with microphones, but with sensitive seismometers! It is about vibrations, not sound.”

There are many signs that the climate debate is entering its end game. Many countries ignore climate targets all together including the US now under Trump. However, the battle is not yet over. The EU especially is on the brink of economic collapse due to its extreme energy prices and the growing amount of ‘climate’ regulations. The media, many politicians, academia continue to promote the climate agenda, as that is their bread and butter.
So Clintel and other organisations around the world such as the GWPF, the CO2 Coalition, Heartland, CFACT etc. will have a huge fight ahead. Please consider to support us in this battle with a donation or by becoming Friend of Clintel. Thank you in advance for your support. Clintel is a 501(c)3 in the US.
Clintel is an Amsterdam (The Netherlands) based thinktank founded in 2019 by Dutch emeritus professor Guus Berkhout and science writer Marcel Crok.
Clintel operates as a climate science and climate policy watchdog. In its first year it launched the World Climate Declaration, stating “there is no climate emergency”. That declaration is now signed by more than 1950 scientists and experts.
Clintel is independent from governments and industry. Our donors are private citizens and small companies around the world.
